Urgent Care Roseville Sports Physicals
With no appointment required, Roseville sports physicals are made easy with Med Care. Whether your child is getting ready for sports, school or camp, a sports physical is the first step in making sure they’re healthy and ready for activity. We are proud to have provided sports physicals to students in the Roseville Joint Union High School District and San Juan Unified School District for almost 25 years.
With active kids and sports programs in Rocklin, Roseville, Granite Bay, Placer County, Arden-Arcade, Carmichael, Orangevale, Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks, Rancho Cordova, and Sacramento it’s important to ensure that each athlete is okay to play is the first step in getting ready for the big game. Some of the favorite sports where most injuries occur are football, basketball and soccer.
Sports physicals are normally required by Roseville Joint Union High School District and San Juan Unified School District athletic leagues and schools − and for good reason. They bring awareness of any health issues that may impact your child’s ability to participate in a sport. We can help identify areas that may be prone to injury and suggest tips and exercises to avoid future problems.
What do we do at a sports physical? Our Physicians will check your athlete’s vitals, joints and flexibility. They’ll also check an athlete’s vision and do a short fitness assessment to diagnose and recommend any possible limitations on physical activity. Notifying the physician of any relevant information regarding previous hospitalizations or surgeries, illnesses or diseases within the family, medications, past injuries or allergies will help the physical run smoothly.
